8.3 Gandalf TA1

Cable required 15 to 25 (2 of Part No. AS-DVST-TA1)

The Gandalf TA1 is a dual port unit capable of simultaneiusly using both ISDN B

channels on an ISDN2 connection.

The Gandalf has two X21 ports, PORT0 & PORT1. They must be configured as follows

for DIRECT connection:

Direct Connection

Configure the Gandalf as follows:

CALL MODE=CKT SWITCH AUTO

CALL TYPE=BOTHWA

CALL SPEED=NEGOTIATE

ANSWER=C

ORIGINATE=C

DISCONECT=C

ALERTING=I

DCD/I=DELAY
